Key accountabilities:

  • Responsible for volumes planning, forecasting and pricing of Seed Solution portfolio;
  • Plans and is responsible for allocated cost budget of business unit;
  • Focuses on key players of Seed Treatment in Russian market and increases BASF share there;
  • Takes ownership and drives technical seed treatment topics at customers seed plant level:
  • Implements new products and recipes;
  • Takes part in improvement of plant productivity;
  • Claim handling and issue solving;
  • Organizes trainings for customers;
  • Co-develops and implements operative sales plans and targets;
  • Coordinates activity between Sales and Marketing /Russia and APE/M Seed Solution responsible manager to ST related topics;
  • Takes ownership of collaboration with machinery manufacturers (e.g. Petkus) and shares new trends and communicate opportunities and follow up projects among Russian sales team;
  • Develops good knowledge of and overview over technical setup at customer’s treatment sites. Translates the need of customers to BASF units and co-develops the right combination of chemicals, seed coatings and biologicals (integrate and complement offers);
  • Supports setting up “virtual” service centers in Russia by considering country specifics and HQ requirements.

Main requirements:

  • University degree in Agricultural area;
  • Experience and good knowledge of seeds market and business;
  • Strong sales skills;
  • Ownership, self-motivation and maturity;
  • Fluent English.
